  We went to Abby looking to have hardwood put into the living room of our new home. The salesman was very helpful and even helped us find an exact match for the wood in that was already in the dining room, but the installer they sent out was a disaster. He constantly pressured us to sign papers and attest that the work was done when it was not claiming that he needed to be paid. His workmanship was shoddy, the transitions are already starting to come up after only 3 months, there are spongy places in the floor where the glue was unevenly applied, it took over a week to finish a two day job, and the floors always look dirty because he tracked glue all over the top of the new wood, which we've been unable to get up. It's going to cost me almost as much to hire someone competent to fix everything that he ruined. I would but from them only if I was planning on doing my own installation.
